Job Summary

MaineHealth is seeking a skilled CRNA to join our team of anesthesia care professionals at Maine Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center. As a CRNA, you will work in a fast-paced environment providing world-class care to patients. Our team of close to 100 CRNAs provides coverage for 30 operating rooms and numerous off-sites, working alongside a private group of physician anesthesiologists to provide coverage for pediatric, neuro, ortho, trauma, general, vascular, obstetric, urological, and thoracic cases.

Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care to patients in a variety of settings, including operating rooms and off-sites.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of anesthesia care professionals, including physician anesthesiologists and certified registered nurse anesthetists.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of anesthesia care plans.
  • Contribute to the education and training of students and new staff members.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and APRN-CRNA in the State of Maine.
  • Graduation from a nurse anesthesiology program accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
  • Board certification as a CRNA by NBCRNA.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all procedures and equipment used to administer anesthesia to various age groups, acuity levels, and case types.
  • Certification in ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
