Medical Referral Coordinator

Kaiser Permanente is a leading healthcare organization seeking a skilled Medical Referral Coordinator to join our team.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of complex outside medical referrals, serving as a liaison between various stakeholders and working independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying member eligibility, requesting additional information when necessary, and entering data into our system.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, ability to read and interpret provider orders, and proficiency in medical coding procedures using CPT-4 and ICD-9. A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. and 10-key by touch are also essential requirements.
We offer a competitive salary range of $62,000 - $82,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
