We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Command Holdings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
- Review and approval of design documents and specifications.
- Estimation and cost management of design efforts.
- Technical expertise in negotiations with contractors and vendors.
- Addressing contractor submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
- Preparation of high-level briefs for senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional registration as a Licensed Civil Engineer.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Extensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
- Minimum of five years of specialized experience in civil engineering schematic design and design development.
- Design and technical competence in developing and producing complete Construction Documents.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Current, active secret clearance.
