Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Command Holdings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Northwest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and development of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
  • Review and approval of design documents and specifications.
  • Estimation and cost management of design efforts.
  • Technical expertise in negotiations with contractors and vendors.
  • Addressing contractor submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
  • Preparation of high-level briefs for senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional registration as a Licensed Civil Engineer.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
  • Minimum of five years of specialized experience in civil engineering schematic design and design development.
  • Design and technical competence in developing and producing complete Construction Documents.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Current, active secret clearance.
