About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team at Longview Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation journey of our patients, providing personalized care and support to help them achieve their goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify areas of need and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to patients with a range of conditions, including stroke, brain injury, and neurological disorders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services provided

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Current licensure and certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation setting, preferably in a hospital or inpatient rehabilitation setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
