Position Overview: The Strategic Sourcing Manager will play a crucial role in shaping and overseeing the sourcing strategy and supplier management processes for Skookum's procurement operations on a national scale. This position collaborates closely with various stakeholders, including Regional Vice Presidents, Site Managers, and Home Office teams. The focus will be on achieving cost efficiencies, exploring automation opportunities, and ensuring compliance with established procurement standards.

Formulate and implement sourcing strategies for services related to Facilities Maintenance, Janitorial, Fleet, and Grounds Maintenance. Lead complex Request for Proposals (RFPs) with national vendors to secure favorable pricing for commonly utilized items across all locations. Utilize strong negotiation skills to establish and maintain strategic supplier agreements while supporting local small business vendors. Develop and manage Statements of Work and Service Level Agreements, ensuring supplier performance is tracked through established metrics. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the AbilityOne Mandatory Product Purchasing policy and ensure compliance at both corporate and site levels. Analyze spending data and present findings to management to support informed purchasing decisions. Leverage Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to enhance procurement processes and streamline interactions between suppliers and internal teams. Create and maintain a training program focused on procurement policies and national agreements, which may involve travel. Stay informed about industry trends and product/service needs. Build and nurture effective relationships with suppliers. Assist in onboarding new contracts by providing training on procurement policies and agreements, which may require travel. Ensure optimal utilization of authorized discounts with suppliers. Track and manage training for all purchasing personnel to ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards. Demonstrate the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Contribute as a solution-oriented team member focused on achieving exceptional results. Additional travel may be required. Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Finance. 5 – 8 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain. Comprehensive understanding of procurement processes, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools. Valid state driver's license required. Ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
