Lead a Partial Hospitalization Program focused on eating disorders, with plans to expand into inpatient, residential, day, intensive, and outpatient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nutritional therapy to individuals of all genders dealing with eating disorders alongside other medical and psychiatric conditions.
  • Collaborate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) with patients and their support network (therapist, psychiatrist, physician, family/friends) to ensure optimal care.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments, develop therapeutic and personalized meal plans, and facilitate individual and group sessions based on the patient's care level.
  • Engage with patients to explore their challenges, options, and desired outcomes.
  • Create and execute tailored treatment plans to promote patient progress.
  • Work alongside patients to address and resolve complex issues related to their relationship with food.
  • Lead regular nutrition therapy groups aimed at fostering a balanced approach to nourishment, helping patients rebuild a positive relationship with food and their bodies.
  • Assist patients with practical nutrition tasks such as meal planning, grocery shopping, menu selection, kitchen skills, and cooking.
  • Prior experience in eating disorder programs is essential.
  • Develop effective strategies to introduce innovative programs that yield optimal clinical nutrition results and positive financial outcomes.
  • Adhere to regulatory standards set by Federal and State agencies, ensuring compliance with confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, policies, and CMS regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire improvements in nursing and kitchen management.
  • Experience in treating eating disorders is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree.
  • Basic Functional Experience - Eligibility for certification as a Registered Dietitian.
