About the Role

As a Medication Aide at Wallick Communities, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our senior residents. Your primary responsibility will be to administer medications and provide direct resident care, promoting independence and supporting activities of daily living.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed and under the direction of a licensed nurse.
  • Promptly report to the nurse any resident requests or needs for PRN medications.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and families to ensure seamless care.
  • Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents, including assistance with personal hygiene and grooming.
  • Assist in maintaining a therapeutic environment for residents and motivate them to participate in activities.
Requirements
  • Current valid Medication Aide Certificate authorized by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Nurse Aide Certification.
