Job Overview:
The primary role of the Athletic Event Staff is to facilitate ticket sales, manage entry points, and ensure a secure environment for all attendees. This position involves direct interaction with teams, coaches, spectators, officials, and guests, serving as the first point of contact. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and effective decision-making skills while working with a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with teams, coaches, spectators, officials, patrons, and guests, acting as the initial point of contact
  • Process ticket sales, handle cash transactions, and accurately manage game funds
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve ticket-related issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to address on-the-job challenges effectively
  • Maintain a welcoming demeanor and positive attitude, even in challenging situations
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships with school officials, event staff, parents, students, and fans
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have the following documentation on file prior to commencing work:
  1. Current favorable background checks
  2. Negative drug test result
All employees are expected to adhere to board policies, state and federal laws, and the ethical standards set forth by the relevant educational authorities. Essential functions of this role include punctuality and the ability to fulfill all job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.

The selected individual must complete any required training courses as designated by the Athletic Director.
