Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Ascension. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain complex medical imaging equipment, including computed tomography (CT) scanners and nuclear medicine systems.
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, such as CT scans and nuclear medicine tests, to help diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, physicians, and nurses, to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and implement effective imaging protocols to optimize image quality and patient safety.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
  • Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
