Event Janitor

**Job Title:** Event Janitor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Event Janitor to join our team at United Service Companies. As an Event Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for events in the Las Vegas area.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work on short notice. You will be responsible for cleaning event spaces, including floors, bathrooms, and windows, as well as performing routine maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Mix water and chemicals in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo and extract carpets.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Drive or operate powered equipment including ride on scrubbers or industrial ride on vacuum cleaners.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

Qualifications:

• Must be able perform repetitive motion for extensive amount of time
• Must be able to walk long distances
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work independently or with a partner
• Capable of lifting, bending, stooping, pushing & pulling heavy loads
• Must be able to lift and/or carry thirty (30) to fifty (50) pounds

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this role is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
