Interventional Holding Registered Nurse

The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) position is a critical role within the Bon Secours network, responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients. This position requires a strong organizational and leadership skillset, with the ability to assess patient status, determine priority, and implement clinical nursing interventions to acute, critical patients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessment, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate treatment effectiveness
- Utilize strong clinical judgment and clinical inquiry to take immediate and decisive action
- Anticipate and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment
- Participate in the on-call system for emergency and urgent procedures, responding to STEMI call backs in less than 30 minutes
- Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with the State of Practice and the organization's policies and procedures
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred, not required)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (preferred, not required)
- One year of RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR (required)
