We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Concession Worker to join our team at Lake of the Torches Resort Casino. As a Concession Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, processing food orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional service to guests and other customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Take food order selections from guests, calculate the cost of food orders, and package food orders for delivery.
- Perform cashier functions, including money exchanges and receipt processing, on assigned point-of-sale systems.
- Maintain a complete knowledge of all menu items and perform food preparation duties as needed.
- Operate a variety of concession equipment, including broilers, ovens, skillets, deep fat fryers, and mixers.
- Fulfill room service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete all side work, including restocking condiments, paper products, and plastic ware during the close of each shift.
- Prepare and maintain all par levels in freezers and refrigerators.
- Rotate and record all products to ensure freshness.
- Maintain a clean work environment to increase guest satisfaction and maintain defined sanitation guidelines.
- Perform all deep cleaning activities of all equipment, storage, and concession areas according to designated schedules.
- Notify supervisors, managers, or facility administrators of situations that may affect guests, associates, or the resort.
- A high school education or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of six months experience in cash handling or customer service is preferred.
- Must possess accurate cash handling, math, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Must have basic knowledge of sanitation requirements.
- Must be able to work in a positive team environment and maintain confidentiality.
The majority of responsibilities will be performed within the confines of the concession areas with exposure to differentials in temperature. Controlled exposure to high temperatures from cooking equipment and food preparation may occur. May be exposed to situations where spills, wet floors, or guest behaviors may create undesirable conditions.
Continual walking, bending, standing, and lifting is required.
