Diesel Mechanic Job Description

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance tasks on trucks and trailers in our Minooka, IL location.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lube, filters, and inspections.
• Conduct basic electrical repairs and replace starters, alternators, and batteries.
• Inspect and replace engine components, transmission, and clutch, as well as drive line components.
• Remove and replace steering and chassis components.

Requirements:
• Equivalent of high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of mechanic experience.
• Eligible and able to obtain CDL within 6 months of being hired.
• Must have own tools and steel toe boots.
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
