Job Title: Applicant Pool for Gallery Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with the administrative operation of the Art Gallery Exhibitions and the physical operation, maintenance, and care of the Art Gallery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with program development, including planning an active slate of 5-7 exhibitions and educational programs.
  • Help with public relations, outreach, and resource development.
  • Assist with the maintenance and care of the Art Gallery, including managing several projects at once and making quick decisions.
  • Recognize strength and weaknesses in subordinates and provide guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree (A.S., A.A.) or two-year technical certificate in Fine Arts, Art Management, Business Management, or Marketing.
  • 2 years' experience in art handling and curation.

Working Conditions:

Varies semester to semester.

Pay and Benefits:

Hourly, non-exempt position with benefits.
