Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in concrete and masonry to join our team at SST Direct. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of conducting project walkthroughs, preparing takeoffs, and presenting detailed bids.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct project walkthroughs with clients to ensure accurate intake of project scope details.
  • Prepare takeoffs from plan sets and estimate job costs.
  • Presentation of detailed bids, including a written scope of work, for submission.
  • Attend inspections (city or public works) as required.
  • Collaborate with Foreman and Project Manager to discuss project goals, potential roadblocks, and changes in scope.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in masonry and concrete (commercial sector).
  • 5+ years of concrete estimating experience, including takeoffs.
  • Proficiency with Plan Swift, Bluebeam, and Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of block, brick, stone, stucco, concrete, tile, grading, machine work, precast, repointing, drainage, waterproofing, and reading blueprints.
