Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Physiatrist to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients/clients, obtain history, and perform systems reviews to select and administer discipline- and age-specific tests and measures.
  • Evaluate patients/clients, making clinical judgments based on data gathered during the examination.
  • Develop and implement patient/client interventions, including delegating and supervising support staff.
  • Provide patient and family education and training.
  • Collaborate with hospital departments and community agencies to deliver coordinated care.
Requirements
  • Meets educational requirements as necessary for obtaining professional license in Physical Therapy.
  • Writes, reads, comprehends, and speaks fluent English.
  • Microsoft Office – basic computer skills.
