Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care for patients in the NICU, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Current California RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification.
  • At least 2 years of recent relevant experience in a NICU setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
