We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Sutter Health. As a Staff Nurse II, you will provide exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care for patients in the NICU, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Develop and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and other treatments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Current California RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification.
- At least 2 years of recent relevant experience in a NICU setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A competitive hourly rate of $70.70 to $93.82.
