Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Safety and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at JBS USA. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our meat processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and implement food safety and quality procedures on the production floor, reporting any deficiencies and taking corrective action.
  • Work closely with production associates to monitor meat products for specifications and correct any deficiencies.
  • Assist in the review of records to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with the QA supervisor and management to gather data for investigations and improve quality control processes.
Requirements
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment preferred.
  • Reliable and detail-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work a second shift (3pm-1am) and occasional weekends as needed.
  • Comfortable working in a cold environment and able to stand for long periods of time.
