Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a COTA, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation and care of patients with various physical, mental, or emotional conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Execute therapeutic plans designed to help patients recover and improve their skills for daily living and working.
- Contribute to the planning and selection of therapeutic activities tailored to individual patient needs and interests.
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations to the occupational therapist and adjusting therapy interventions as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on therapy practices, adaptive equipment, and home modifications.
- Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current license/certification in the state of practice.
