Elementary School Speech and Language Support Specialist

We offer a competitive salary of $58,000 per year, paid weekly, as well as comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, and awards and recognition programs.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program, with successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent. You should also possess current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice, and be able to comply with accepted professional standards and practice.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
• Assist the Speech Language Pathologist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language impairments.
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and interventions to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement instructional strategies that support student learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement professional development opportunities that enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote high-quality instruction and support for students with speech and language impairments.
