Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Whittier Health Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert nutritional care to our patients, developing and implementing nutritional care plans, and collaborating with medical and nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized nutritional care plans for patients
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and provide ongoing evaluations
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition
  • Supervise and train culinary department staff on nutrition-related topics
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutritional Sciences
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Geriatric and rehabilitation experience preferred
