Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests and take drink orders, providing recommendations as needed.
  • Prepare and mix cocktails and other beverages according to established recipes.
  • Verify the age of guests to ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
  • Manage a designated cash bank and adhere to all cash handling protocols.
  • Process payments for beverages served and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure the bar area is well-stocked and equipped with necessary tools and ingredients.
  • Serve light snacks or food items to patrons seated at the bar when appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume dining environment is preferred, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Solid understanding of wines, beers, spirits, and bar operations, with the ability to learn and follow drink recipes.
  • A friendly and engaging personality with a passion for hospitality and customer service.
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills and experience with cash handling and point-of-sale systems.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Must possess a valid food handler's card.
