Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to work in our Labor and Delivery department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients, including prenatal, labor, and postpartum care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of California
  • At least one year of experience in obstetrics, preferably in a labor and delivery setting
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
