In this role, your daily activities may include:
  • Engaging with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, discharge planners, and case managers to promote AdvisaCare's home health and hospice services.
  • Building and nurturing client relationships by understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Developing business strategies and maintaining target lists to ensure that each patient receives the individualized care we are known for.

Qualifications

To thrive as a Home Health and Hospice Sales Specialist, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a health-related field (e.g., nursing, pharmacy).
  • A proven track record of sales success within the healthcare sector.
  • A strong work ethic, with the ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • A minimum of two years of sales experience in healthcare or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of the needs of physicians, hospitals, case management, and discharge planning.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information about Medicare, home health, and hospice services to all levels of the healthcare team.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to present effectively.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of insurance, with the ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Existing relationships with referral partners in the service area are preferred.
  • A positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills.
