- Monitor students' progress regularly and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the virtual learning environment.
- Provide consultation and support to teachers and educational staff regarding strategies for fostering communication skills in virtual classrooms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and communication with stakeholders in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology, particularly as they relate to virtual service delivery.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Prior experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting, with experience in virtual service delivery preferred.
- Proficiency in using virtual therapy platforms and technology for remote service delivery.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders in a virtual environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently while adhering to deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based speech and language services to support students' academic and social success in the virtual learning environment.
