About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Optometry Student Intern to join our dynamic eye care team at Walmart Corporate Nationwide.

This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of optometry and contribute to the delivery of exceptional eye care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and store associates on eye health, including contact lens care, disease state management, and safety factors.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to develop patient care plans, adhering to the optometry scope of practice as per state board regulations.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in an accredited optometry school.
  • Strong eagerness to learn and adapt to new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation.
  • Previous experience in patient care is highly valued.
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, with weekend availability.
