Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide essential medical services within schools in New Haven County, Connecticut.
This rewarding opportunity allows you to make a direct impact on the well-being of students by implementing individualized healthcare plans and collaborating with school staff.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to students based on their unique health needs and established care plans.
- Actively participate in planning and placement team meetings, contributing to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and fostering effective communication with healthcare providers.
- Occasionally accompany assigned students on school buses to ensure their safety and well-being during transportation.
- Maintain meticulous nursing notes and records, ensuring accurate documentation of student care and progress.
- Generate timely reports as required, submit Medicaid documentation, and adhere to State Department of Social Services regulations and other relevant legal frameworks.
- Provide valuable in-service professional development and educational materials to school staff and parents upon request.
- Embrace additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the school community.
