Job Title: Senior Transportation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Engineer to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned transportation engineer to work independently on managing and developing projects throughout PA and MD. As a Senior Transportation Engineer, you will be responsible for leading teams and working closely with the VP at the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Lead teams of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and partners, identifying new business opportunities and growing existing relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and client satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in transportation design, leadership, and supervisory experience.
  • Licensed PE in IL, with experience working with DOT, Turnpike, and other related IL agencies.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office, with experience utilizing these tools in a professional setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
