Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product development aligns with company goals and meets customer needs.
  • Use creativity and technical expertise to resolve complex problems and create innovative products.
  • Analyze existing products to identify areas for improvement and develop new designs.
  • Conduct various tests and experiments to ensure product performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Provide technical guidance and specifications to suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production efficiency and ensure smooth production ramp-up.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation, including design files and specifications.
  • Gather customer feedback and propose design enhancements or modifications to enhance product functionality and competitiveness.
Requirements
  • BS in Engineering: Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Application or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience working in a technical capacity/environment.
  • 3-5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment or comparable.
  • 1-3 years of project management experience.
Preferred Skills
  • Quality Function Deployment (QFD) development planning and process knowledge.
  • Interest or experience in electrical, software, or mechanical design.
  • Experience with Arduino or other microcontrollers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with regulatory agency staff.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of $48.08 per hour. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to travel to local suppliers as needed.
