Job Title: Custodial Director

SSC Services for Education is a leading provider of facility services, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custodial Director to join our team. As a Custodial Director, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and security of assigned buildings. You will oversee the coordination of all work activities of janitorial personnel, supervise, direct, and develop supervisors and hourly employees, and ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise janitorial personnel to ensure efficient and effective cleaning services.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
• Train and develop supervisors and hourly employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Manage and maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and materials to ensure they are in good working order.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
• Develop and implement budget plans to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a cleaning or facilities services environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
