SENIOR TAX CONSULTANT

RMW Accounting is in search of a skilled tax professional to join our team on a full-time basis. We are looking for a proactive individual eager to enhance their skills and expertise within a collaborative environment.


POSITION OVERVIEW:

The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing individual, corporate, and partnership tax clients. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns, as well as providing clients with tax projections and consulting services as necessary.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review U.S. and multi-state income tax returns for various business entities, including C corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, and fiduciary returns.
  • Prepare and review taxation for Estates and Trusts.
  • Handle taxation for non-profit organizations.
  • Review individual income and gift tax returns at both U.S. and state levels.
  • Prepare tax projections for both individual and corporate clients.
  • Conduct necessary tax research.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues regarding diverse tax issues.
  • Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant tax experience.
  • Possession of a CPA certificate is required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel; familiarity with Ultratax tax software and Practice CS is preferred.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, and trial balance software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Interpersonal skills that foster strong client relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A desire to expand your knowledge and expertise.
