PacifiCorp, a leading energy company in the US, is seeking an experienced Electrical Lineworker to join their team. As a key member of our Power Delivery department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our transmission and distribution systems.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and safety-focused individual to work on high-voltage electrical systems, installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment such as power lines, substations, and transformers. If you have experience with linework, hot sticking, and wire pulling, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair transmission and distribution electrical systems, including overhead and underground lines, substations, and transformers.
- Operate switches, cutouts, and grounding devices to work on de-energized lines and equipment.
- Perform transformer wiring tasks and train junior personnel in the trade.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a formal training program for a Journeyman Lineman is also necessary.
- Journeyman Lineman certification, which includes completion of a formal training program, is mandatory.
- Meet examining board review of skills and experience and pass testing through Rocky Mountain Power.
- Hot stick training and experience are required.
- A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is essential.
- Competitive salary: $56.88 per hour.
