Norman Regional Health System seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist to provide essential support in maintaining a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing for procedures, assisting physicians to promote optimal patient outcomes, and ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Surgical Environment Support: Maintain a sterile environment to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes.
- Procedure Preparation: Prepare for surgical procedures to minimize delays and complications.
- Physician Assistance: Assist physicians during procedures to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Safe Environment: Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff throughout the procedure.
Requirements
- Education: Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification: National certification in surgical technology is highly preferred.
- Licensure: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
