Warehouse Palletizer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Palletizer to join our team at J L Schwieters Construction. As a key member of our lumberyard operations, you will be responsible for operating a Sit-Down Forklift or a Combi-Lift, loading and unloading trucks and rail cars, picking orders with a pick sheet, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.

• Operate a Sit-Down Forklift or a Combi-Lift to move materials and products within the lumberyard
• Load and unload trucks and rail cars with precision and efficiency
• Pick orders with a pick sheet and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals

• At least 1 year of experience on a forklift in a lumberyard preferred
• Working knowledge of lumber species, grades, types, etc.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
• Ability to read and write legibly
• Ability to stand and sit for up to 8 hours a day, climb ladders as needed, and lift up to 75 lbs.
