We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology. This 13-week contract opportunity is available in Fargo, North Dakota, and offers a competitive salary package.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess strong technical abilities.

About the Job

This position requires a Radiation Technologist with one to three years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Operate computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and imaging results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field
  • Certification in Computed Tomography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • One to three years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per year, based on a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour shifts. Additional benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term disability, and a 401(k) plan.
