Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including respiratory function and airway patency, to determine the need for respiratory therapy.
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medication, and chest physiotherapy as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist with the placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
  • Monitor patients for therapeutic response and notify physicians of any adverse reactions.
  • Transport ventilator-dependent patients safely and efficiently.
  • Respond to emergency situations and ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation.
Requirements
  • 1 year of respiratory experience preferred.
  • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or ACLS Instructor certification.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Licensed Certified Respiratory Therapist (LCRT) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or PALS Instructor certification.
