We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Caregiver to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Lead Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services are provided to our residents.
Responsibilities- Provide supervisory support to Care Managers, ensuring attendance, managing call-offs, and sending open shift messages.
- Support team members in providing Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services, including bathing, grooming, and personal care.
- Encourage resident participation in life enrichment programming and ADLs, promoting personalized and meaningful experiences.
- Assist with meal service, coaching team members on hospitality standards and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Monitor team member break schedules, ensure compliance with Timekeeping and Meal/Rest Period policies, and coach team members as needed.
- Display flexibility in work schedules, working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts when necessary.
- Prepare for shifts by obtaining resident group assignments, printing daily assignment sheets, and participating in crossover meetings.
- High School diploma or GED, with a strong preference for experience working with seniors.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with Care Managers, Community Managers, residents, and family members.
- Medication Management Certificate required, with ongoing training and re-education per Sunrise and state requirements.
- Previous experience working with seniors, with a desire to serve and care for seniors.
- Demonstrated leadership competencies, including delegation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
