Role Responsibilities

As a Medical Laboratory Technologist PRN, you will:

  • Conduct precise laboratory tests, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Take charge of departmental operations in the absence of supervisory staff.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to patient testing.
  • Execute urgent procedures within established timeframes.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to interpret and correlate patient results effectively.
  • Monitor pending and result logs, addressing any outstanding issues.
  • Adhere to quality control protocols and manage critical laboratory specimens.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • An Associate's Degree in a relevant field; a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
  • A State of Florida Technologist License or the ability to obtain one during the interview process.
  • A license in one or more clinical specialty areas, with a generalist background highly preferred.
  • Less than one year of experience in a laboratory setting.
