Job Title: Director Project Controls - Americas

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Project Controls - Americas to join our team. As a key member of our Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) team, you will be responsible for leading strategic and innovative projects, ensuring consistency across project controls globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional and cross-team projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project controls strategies, processes, and tools to drive predictability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support business review cadence and report project performance against approved plans.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to the project controls team, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in cost, planning, estimating, or commercial project controls.
  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 2+ years of field/construction experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Deep understanding of datacenter design and build.
  • Analytical capability to identify opportunities to optimize cost and schedule.
  • Collaborative leadership approach.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and exhibit agility.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $137,600 - $267,000 per year.
