We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Memory Care to join our team at Atria Senior Living - Draper Place. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging environment for our residents with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement daily programs for the Life Guidance neighborhood, ensuring a positive and energetic environment for residents.
  • Manage and supervise clinical and non-clinical Life Guidance staff, providing direction, feedback, and training to ensure excellent care.
  • Collaborate with the Support Center to provide community-specific programming options and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Build relationships with new residents and their families, utilizing effective onboarding tools and assessments.
  • Manage the budget for the Life Guidance Program and maintain accurate records.
  • Partner with Engage Life on community-wide programming and collaborate with clinical and non-clinical contacts to ensure excellent resident care.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Behavioral Health, Therapeutic Recreation, Nursing, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience caring for people with dementia and developing activity programs, preferably as a manager with a specialized dementia program.
  • Knowledge of dementia illnesses, adaptive strategies, and budget analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience facilitating family and caregiver support programs.
  • Good computer skills, including virtual communication tools like Microsoft Teams.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive personal or company vehicle.
