We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Newport Orthopedic Institute. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic images and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce diagnostic images
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
- Review and assess images for quality and completeness
- Collaborate with physicians to provide high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
- Current state license (CRT) and ARRT certification
- Proven experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
