At Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Premium Auditor to join our team. As a Premium Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing property casualty commercial lines policies to establish appropriate classifications, exposures, and basis of premium. You will develop earned premiums in accordance with company, industry, and government rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Travel to agents' commercial clients to conduct audits
- Develop earned premiums in accordance with company, industry, and government rules and regulations
- Verify premium basis by reviewing ledgers, state or federal quarterly records, financial statements, and other accounting records
- Investigate and establish correct policy classifications through personal interview and physical inspection of the insured's premises
- Document changes in the insured's operation
- Prepare and submit complete reports within established time frames
- Interact with agents and associates to communicate and support audit results
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication
- Solid analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of the property casualty business and products
- Underwriting experience
- Strong automation skills
- Experience in insurance and/or auditing
- Industry designation, Associate in Premium Auditing (APA) or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $100,000 annually, based on education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance. Benefits include a company car, company stock options, paid time off (PTO), and a 401K with 6% company match.
