Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Identify, maintain, and repair light-duty diesel vehicles.
  • Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide time estimates for further repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Required Qualifications
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Service Technician.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is a plus.
  • A, B, C level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • Good manual dexterity, requiring steady hands and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities, along with proficiency in using electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer knowledge.
  • A positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with effective collaboration skills.
  • Capacity to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
