We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Physical Therapy team in East Providence, Rhode Island. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
About the RoleAs an Outpatient Physical Therapist at Mass General Brigham, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your clinical skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, evaluate, and treat patients, and provide education and training to patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
- Assess and evaluate patients' physical function and abilities, and develop treatment plans to improve their mobility, strength, and range of motion.
- Implement and supervise physical therapy interventions, including exercises, modalities, and equipment-based treatments.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Rhode Island.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math and computer science skills.
- Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques.
- Safely execute all job responsibilities without risking injury to self or patients.
