Job Summary:
The West Virginia Department of Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Robotics Coach to join our team. As a Robotics Coach, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring students in robotics and drone competitions, while also overseeing the design and building of robotics and drones for local, regional, and state events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and train students for robotics and drone competitions
- Monitor and assist students with the design and building of robotics and drones
- Attend and supervise students during competitions
- Meet regularly with school and county administrators to discuss planning, implementation, and program evaluation
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 practices per month
- Ability to attend local, state, and national trainings and meetings
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Working Conditions:
