This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and compassionate healthcare environment. As a Medical Assistant II, you will work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed and assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. You will be fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work and expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Assist licensed practitioners in providing patient care and performing clinical tasks as delegated.
  • Perform all aspects of medical assistant duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Coursework/training and graduation from an accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • A minimum of 6 months of healthcare experience, preferably in a medical assisting role.
