We are seeking a skilled Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider to join our collaborative care team at HCA West Florida Division. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our neurosurgeon and experienced NP to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical functions within the office, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Extend the capabilities of our busy neurosurgeon, providing support and expertise as needed.
- Act as a gatekeeper for the neurosurgeon, serving as the first point of contact for patients and medical staff.
- Answer clinical questions, write notes, and obtain medical clearance for surgeries.
- Participate in peer-to-peer reviews, coordinate surgeries, and round on patients in the hospital.
- Ensure the surgeon has all necessary setup, instrumentation, and hardware in the Operating Room before surgery.
