We are seeking highly skilled Certified Anesthesia Assistants (CAAs) to join our team at CHRISTUS St. Vincent, a Level III trauma center in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

About the Role

As a CAA, you will be an integral part of our anesthesia care team, providing high-quality patient care and support to our anesthesiologists and surgeons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist anesthesiologists and surgeons during surgical procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies
  • Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
What We Offer
  • Competitive annual base salary of $220,000
  • Flat rate for light call shifts (24 hours, weekends) above base salary
  • Additional bonus opportunities, including annual $5,000 Engagement Incentive, one-time $10,000 sign-on bonus, and $30,000 retention bonuses for each two-year commitment beyond year one
  • Excellent relocation package with $10,000 in moving expenses and direct bill moving company options
  • CME and licensure allowance of $5,000 annually
  • 6 weeks of time off plus holidays and CME time
  • Fully paid malpractice coverage
  • Flexible benefit offerings and 4.25% employer contribution to retirement savings

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Completion of an accredited training program
  • Active licensure in New Mexico (or ability to obtain)
  • At least one year of experience preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
