Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in multi-family residential environments.
- Perform repairs with copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping materials.
- Detect sources of leaks within the confines of the building, underground, and on the exterior of the building.
- Perform drain cleaning on plumbing systems and sewage backup troubleshooting and repairs.
- Work with blueprints and job specifications to determine work details and procedures.
- Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects.
- Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to determine work details or procedures.
- Keep records of work assignments and repairs.
- Install green plumbing equipment, such as faucet flow restrictors, dual-flush toilets, and tankless water heaters.
- Weld small pipes or special piping using specialized techniques and equipment.
- Perform other business-related duties as required.
- Valid plumbing license.
- Own transportation, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Good working knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools.
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and patience.
- Physical dexterity.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
