About Our Unit

Our 24-bed fast-paced elective surgery unit, 7 South, is a dynamic and collaborative environment where you can grow and develop your skills as a nurse. With a mix of orthopedic, urology, and general surgery patients, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of cases and develop your expertise in a variety of areas.

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on the night shift. As a nurse on our unit, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence
Requirements
  • BSN required
  • RN experience required
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
  • Certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required
  • Med./surg./Tele. experience strongly preferred
